Cannabinoids can be made from yeast in a lab

This has been a topic of conversation for several years. Labs are now able to produce single cannabinoids using a biosynthetic process similar to that used to make alcohol: using a special yeast and fermentation. There are certainly medical cases where this will be very useful, but recreating the Entourage, or Ensemble Effect will be challenging.
